Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures and travel with a focus on getting into the mountains. If there is snow I am going to go.
Snowboarding and travel have been a massive part of my life over the past 10+ years. Taking me across five continents, snowboarding has been a massive drive in my pursuit of new and interesting places to ride. We all have our favourite mountain, maybe it’s your local one, however, we all feel that buzz of riding somewhere new for the first time.
Mountains vary so drastically, as do the cultures and communities that reside around them. Travelling to new and exciting ski resorts is a great way not only to do our favourite thing in a beautiful new area but also to meet like-minded people just as passionate about snow sports.
These resort reviews and country guides aim to give a first-hand perspective of some of the most epic places I have had the pleasure to snowboard. Whether chasing powder in Japan, instructor training in the Canadian Rockies, or getting summer laps in the Andes I have always aimed to slow down my travel to spend an extended period in each resort. Doing this has allowed me to not develop fleeting opinions but substantiated ones developed over weeks or seasons.
Similarly, guest guides are provided by skiers or snowboarders who have spent an extended time living, travelling or returning to a ski area. With this in mind, you can be reassured that these guides account for insider knowledge of the best runs, the secret stashes, and where to go on a powder day.
